Landscaped Gardens

At Lime Trees Care Home in Shrewsbury, our landscaped garden and patio are a much-loved part of everyday life. With space to relax and watch the world go by, it offers residents a peaceful retreat just steps from their own front door.

Our garden has been shaped by our wonderful residents. Previously, they have grown their own tomatoes and added wildlife-friendly touches such as bird feeders to make a space that feels both personal and welcoming. The patio provides a sunny spot to relax with a drink or newspaper.

A Space to Enjoy The Outdoors at Your Own Pace

Spending time outside can make a real difference to how our residents feel. Our garden gives them the chance to enjoy the fresh air, take a gentle stroll or sit in the sunshine without having to leave the comfort and safety of their home.

Whether someone prefers quiet time with a book or company from friends and family, there is space for both. On warmer days, the patio becomes a popular spot for tea and activities, while the wider garden offers plenty of room to observe the changing seasons.

A Garden Designed By Our Residents

Our garden is not just somewhere to sit. Residents who enjoy gardening can help with blooms and growing their own produce that our chefs regularly integrate into their seasonal menus.

Our garden and patio also bring people together. Families are welcome to visit and spend time outdoors with their loved ones, and our activities programme often makes use of the space for seasonal events and community celebrations. Our residents take pride in our outdoor areas, so our team go above and beyond to ensure the space is reflective of their preferences.
